According to him, his next album, the Solianos "Pusaka" album, a Malay jazz classics album, is going to be a tour-de-force production that eclipses all his previous albums, in terms of sound quality and musicality. He aims to make this album the Sheila Majid's "Legenda" of the 21st century.
He told me confidently: Eventhough you don't listen to Malay pop music but if you like Sheila Majid and Sean Ghazi, you would love this album.
He even joked that he would send one copy of this CD to our current PM Najib, and former PM, Tun. Dr. Mahathir! (because it has the song "Tanah Pusaka" quite appropriate for 1-Malaysia campaign!)
For once, no more heartbreaks, love songs and melancholia, we would wait with bated breath on how this project turns out in October!
